introduction

precision youth power program inc.is an organization dedicated to saving our "at-risk youth" in our baltimore and surrounding communities.not only does pypp develope unique and innovative interventions in local youth,but youth from across the country as well.this helps to foster positive thinking by initiating positive involvement.this which can only lead to upward mobility and self empowerment.our precision youth power program is an example of such an intervention.we physically go out into our rougher neighborhoods in search of untapped talent,and bring them from the corners,gangs and truantcy. bring them into studios for positive exsperiences through positive music and arts.

we rehab them,show them positive experiences through positive music,arts & performances.we allow them,both male & females ages 10 to 22,to earn free studio time for doing good deeds.for example:if a youth brings home an a or b on his or her report card,pypp in return will reward the youth with 4 to 5 hours of free studio time.

pypp also provides job training & placement for our youth.this includes job readiness via mock job interviews & assistance in filling out applications.youth ages 18 to 22 must look for,find, & maintain employment to continue as a member of pypp.random pop ups are used to monitor youth's progress on the job.for every good report given by bosses,youth earn 4 to 5 hours studio time.

the same monitoring process is used for pypp school age youth.pypp works with the school system & parents to get those youth that have been put out of school, a second chance at an education.once reinstated pypp uses the pop up system to check progress.for good reports youth earn 4 to 5 hours free studio time.f's,d's bad reports,gangs,drugs,ect,get 5 to6 hours deducted.

some youth require more than 4 to 6 months.some youth require less than 4 to 6 months.however no youth may enter the studio to record any tracks prior to pypp graduation.this means if you have not graduated than you will not record.you must go to school or work to build life ethics first and then the rewards second.hard work and persistance pays off is what is instilled in pypp youth.

in short we make the dreams of these at-risk but talented youth come true if they give up gangs,drugs,violence,truancy,ect.if they ever wanted to be on tv performing their positive songs,pypp makes it happen.if they ever wanted to be on the radio pypp makes it happen.if they ever wanted to be in a magazine or in a newspaper pypp makes it happen.perform on stage,ect it's done.

studio time earned by pypp youth is redeemded by studios that provide the hours as incentive to remain crime free.these studios such as k-productions feel that if a youth can give up their colors,drugs,guns,truancy,then we can at least give up some time. after graduation & youth enter the studio,their songs,raps,poetry ect,must be positive music that makes a positive impact on peers.

pypp have youth that were bloods,crips,bgf,ect that are now nurses,correctional officers,restaraunt workers,mentors & more.we have former dealers who now attend college.youth who were d anf students now c,b,& a students.they gave it all up for a chance to live dreams.to do positive music.no strong sexual lyrics no glorifying drugs no degrading men or women & no violence.

pypp partners with some of the top record companies in the world.among them is violator records & managenent.home to some of the biggest names in r&b and hip hop on earth.50 cent missy elliott,busta rymes,chris brown,you name them they have them.many youth would ask,after the cd is made mr williams,then what?.well violator & emmel communications provided the what.

after the tracks are laid,the youth recieve their own cd covers,& the finished producted is shipped to top labels for review & a possible record deal.for the first time ever a youth could get a deal with a major label because they have turned their lives around.pypp promises the youth that they will be heard.however the record deal comes from them,based on their talent not pypp.

one of pypp's national sponsors is the ever popular judge glenda hatchett.her national tv show the judge hatchett show has won critical acclaim from many watchers and comrades in her field.she uses pypp as an alternative to jail for youth that appear on her show.youth from across the country appear on her show for gangs ect.some are sentenced to pypp instead of sending them to jail.

others such as michele dix v.p of talent services vh1,nina diaz creater of sweet 16 and cribs,ericka clarke from mtv,chris macalister baltimore ravens,vernon woodland & leonard woods creators of the t3 tennis shoe & more support the efforts of pypp.  & all are actively involved in helping pypp in some form or fashion.we thank and love you all  for believing in pypp.also thanks to holly nelson,director of creative services for compendia music group in tennessee.
